Have you ever had a conversation with someone not predisposed to understanding, but rather judgement? No doubt, a tough course to steer.
At a recent talk lately, Miss PMO shared a crucial problem with a superior. I appreciate having had it, but wondered can he change his lens and judgments.
Not just in how we operate, but also in viewing others as people, not simply means to an end. This particular individual liked to claim the successes of others, without paying it forward. My goal was to convey the morale busting effects of this. His view of it was as a challenge to his authority.
He asked for my support to which I asked, when had I ever not supported him, the teams, and the organization?
